Tasting Notes:

The Nest Egg label is reserved for the most outstanding wines of the vintage, regardless of variety. Cabernet Sauvignon was outstanding in 2005 and we created 5800 individually numbered bottles.

Matured for twenty four months in tightly grained oak (30% of which was new), this wine will cellar expectionally well and reward the patient and discerning collector.

The wine has a vibrant, deep colour and classic varietal lifted aromas of dark red berries and cassis. The palate is an intense expression of the aromas, enhanced wuth integrated fine tannin and a delicioiusly long, persistent finish
